Why we’re declaring our independence

When a certain time in history comes forth, that it becomes necessary for a certain Cheese Shop to dissolve their bonds to the foreign hams that invade their shop, they must declare their independence from said bonds and strike forth a new and independent Ham. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all hams are not created equal! We want hams from well-raised and well-loved animals! From farmers that actually know and love their pigs! Pigs that are raised with love, good food, and sunshine, not overcrowding and confinement and misery! We declare our Independence from these Ham powers and pledge our support to the wonderful Hams of La Quercia and believe in the principles of pig to plate and LIFE, LIBERTY and the PROSCIUTTO of Happiness!

Why we’re declaring our independence

Come, join hand in hand, brave Americans all, And rouse your bold hearts at fair Liberty's call; No tyrannous acts shall suppress your just claim, Or stain with dishonor America's name. In Freedom we're born and in Freedom we'll live. Our prosciutto is ready. Steady, friends, steady; Not as slaves, but as Freemen our money we'll give. Then join hand in hand, brave Americans all, By uniting we stand, by dividing we fall; In so righteous a cause let us hope to succeed, For heaven approves of each ham cured, not freed.

Do you think that we pride ourselves and our customers as being the most advanced and passionate eaters in America because someone told us how??? Heck NO!! We are culinary pioneers, trailblazing through a wilderness of flavors, on our own path, no map. Come join our journey of epic proportions as we loudly and proudly declare HAM INDEPENDENCE!
